 Reliance Industries is an Indian multinational conglomerate company. Its headquarter is situated in Mumbai Maharashtra. Reliance owns businesses across India engaged in energy, petrochemicals, textile, natural resources, retail and telecommunications. Reliance is one of the most profitable companies in India. It is the largest publicly traded company in India by market capitalisation, and the largest company in India. is measured by revenue after recently surpassing the government control India oil corporation on 22 June 2020 reliance industry become the first Indian company to exceeds US dollar 150 billion in market capitalisation after its market capitalisation hit rupees 11436 7 crore on the BSE.



The company is ranked 96 on the fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporate as of 2020. It is ranked 8th among the Top 250 Global Energy Companies by Platts as of 2016. Reliance continues to be India's largest exporter, accounting for 8% of India's total merchandise exports with the value of Rs1,4 7,755 crore and access to markets in 108 countries. Reliance is responsible for almost 5% of the Government of India's  total revenues from the customs and excise duty. It is also the highest income tax payer in the private sector in India.

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) is the Indian subsidiary of Unilever which is a British does multinational company. its headquartered in Mumbai India.Its products include foods, beverages, cleaning agent, personal care products, water purifier and fast moving consumer goods.


HUL was established in 1993 as Lever Brother of United kingdom and following a merger of constitution group in 1956, it was renamed Hindustan Lever Limited. The company was renamed in June 2007 Hindustan Unilever Limited.



Hindustan Unilever's portfolio had 35 product brands in 20 categories. The company has 18,000 employees and clocked sales of 34619 and crore INR 29 to 20 categories. The company has 18,000 employees and clocked sales of 44,165 in financial year 2019- 2020.


In December, 2018 HUL announced it's acquisition of Glaxosmithskline's India business  for $3.8 billion in all equity  Deal with a 1:4:39 ratio. However the integration of GSK's 3800 employees remained uncertain as HUL stated there was no clause for retention of employees in deal. In April 2020, HUL completed it's merger with Glaxosmithskline consumer Healthcare after completing all legal procedures.

Now we explain about, The Research Facilities of HUL The Hindustan Unilever research centre  (HURC) was set up in 1996 Mumbai and Unilever research India in Bangalore in 1997.Staff at these centres development  many innovations in products and manufacturing processes.  Now we expain the Controversy of HUL, In 2001, thermometer factory in kodaikanal run by Hindustan Unilever was accused of dumping glass contaminated with Mercury in municipal dumps, and selling it on to a scrap merchant unable to deal with it appropriately protest by local NGO and greenpeace led to setting up the factory in March 2001. After protest by activists led by Dr Deepak malghan of IIM Bangalore Hindustan Unilever admitted before Court to being guilty in case in 2010.

According to the CLSA and HSBC Patanjali is the fastest growing  FMCG company in India.It also manufactures ayurvedic medicine. It was listed 13 in the list of India's most trusted brand and rank in the FMCG category.
 
                       History of Patanjali

In this para, we explain about the History of Patanjali Baba Ramdev established the Patanjali Arurved Limited in 2096 alog with his disciple Balkrishna, with the objective of establishing science of Arurveda in accordance and coordination with the latest technology and ancient wisdom.

                       Controversy of  company 

Suspension of Amla juice -  The Ministry of Defence canteen stores department has suspended the sale of Patanjali ayurved amla juice after receiving an adverse state laboratory test report on the product.

The move came after the product was tested at the Central food Lab that found it to be unfit for consumption. After which, the CSD asked  all its depots to make debit notes for the existing stock so that the product can be returned.

Notice by FSSAI - Patanjali launched instant noodles on 15 November 2015. food safety and standards authority of India slapped a notice on the company as neither Patanjali nor Aayush, which are the two brand name under which Patanjali got licences, have got any approval for manufacturing instant noodles .

Coronil - in June 2020, Patanjali Ayurved announced the launch of a COVID-19 treatment called  Coronil, claiming that it showed 100% favourable result in clinical trials on coronavirus patients. There was no clinical data to prove that these new drugs were  effective or even safe, and this prompted a blacklash on social media, with people questioning the role of Ministry of Aayush . Within hours of launch, the  Ministry of Aayush issued a statement, denying having given clearance for the launch of new drugs and asking the company to stop selling or advertising the product until the trial result for exam in biomedical authorities.An officer from the Ayurved department of the Government of uttrakhand stated that the approval application for the new drugs had not mentioned COVID-19. The Government of Maharashtra banned Coronil in the state, with home Minister Anil Deshmukh threatening the company with legal action if they did not respect the ban. Following the launch two FIRs were registered in Bihar and Rajasthan against Ramdev, Balkrishna, and other accusing them of cheating and selling fake medicine. Patanjali responded  to the  accusations claiming that they did not violate any procedure leading up to the launch. 

On August 20, the company was fined RS 10 lakh by Madras high Court for false claim made initially. All these are the Controversy of company.

In last para we explain Products, Patanjali Ayurved produces product in the category of personal care and food the company manufactures more than 200 product including 45 types of cosmetic products and 30 type of food product according to Patanjali all products manufactured by Patanjali are made from Ayurved and natural component Patanjali has also launched beauty and baby products Patanjali ayurvedic manufacturing division has over 300 medicines for treating a range of elements and body condition from common cold to chronic paralysis in 2016 Patanjali has announced to enter the textile manufacturing centre the company is reported to manufacture not only traditional cloth as such as kurta pajama but also popular Western clothes such agents.

On 5 November 2016, Patanjali announced that it will set up a new manufacturing plant Patanjali Herbal and Mega food Park in balipara, Assam by investing 1,200 crore with the manufacturing capacity of 10 lakh tonnes of goods per year. The new plant will be the largest facility of Patanjali in India and will be operational by March 2017.
