Jaypee Group is an Indian conglomerate Company is situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was founded by Jaiprakash Gaur which is a divesified Infrastructure conglomerate with business interest in Engineering and Construction, Power, Cement, Real  Estate, Hospitality, Expressway, IT, support and education ( non for  Profit). In November 2017, The Supreme Court of India barred the directors frim selling their asset.


Jaiprakash Gaur is the founder and was chairman of Jaiprakash associates Limited. After acquiring a diploma in civil engineering in 1950 from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in Roorkee, Uttrakhand he ahd stint with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Later he become an entrepreneur, started as a civil contrtarcter in 1958. Now the Jaypee Group is the third largest cement peoducer in the country. The groups cement facilities are located today all over India in 10 States, with 18 plants having an aggregate cement production capacity of 24 million tonnes and same is poised to become 36 millions Tonnes before  October 2011.


In 2002, he established Jaypee Karchan Hydro Corporation Ltd. established to operate 1,000 megawatts karcham wangtoo HE Project, Jaypee University of Information  Technology at Waknaghat, Himachal Pradesh is founded. In 2003, Jaypee Hotel Training centre (JHTC) is set up to Agra to train students in Hotel  Managment. In 2007, the instititute changed its program from a diploma course  to a degree  course and increased the length of study from two to three years. In 2003, he also established Jaypee Institute of engineering Technology set up at Raghogarh Guna. Later this institute was declared first private state university of Madhya Pradesh as Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology. Also first captive  thermal Power Plant of 25 MW commissioned at JPR. Formation of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd by merging JIL with Jaypee cement  Ltd.


In 2009, Amalgamation of four Group companies namely, Jaypee Cement Limited, Gujarat  Anjan cement  limited of Gujrat based infrastructure conglomerate Anjan Group, Jaypee Hotels Limited and Jayprakash Enterprises Limited with flagship company JAL. He also acquired Sangam Power Generation Company Ltd. signing of MOU for setting up a 2 million tonnes per annum capacity cement plant in Joint Venture with Assam Mineral Development Corporation Limited ( AMDC). Group is setting up a Jaypee Hitech Casting Centre. Amalgamation of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. with Jaiprakash Hydro power  LTD.

Tata Motors Limited  is an indian multinational automotive manufacturing  company. Its headquarters  is situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is an part of Tata Group products, an Indian conglomerate. Tata was formly known  as the  Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company (TELCO), Tata Motors is a part of the Tata group. Tata motors has a auto manufacturing and assembly  plants in Jamshedpur, Pantnagar, Lucknow, Sanand, Dharwad and Pune in India as well as in Argentina, South Africa, Great Britain and Spain. Tata Motors  Principal  subsidaries purchased  the English  premium car maker,  Jaguar Land Rover and south Korean Commercial  vehicle  manufacturer Tata Daewoo.Tata notirs has a bus manufacturing joint  ventures  with Marcopolo, a construction  equipment, manufacturing  joint  venture with Hitachi, and  a joint venture with Fiat Chrysler with manufactures automotive components and Fiat Chrysler and Tata branded vehicles.


It was founded in 1945 as a manufactured its first commercial vehicle  in 1954 in a collaboration  with Dailmer - Benz AG, which ended in 1969. Tata Motors entered the vehicle market in 1988 with the launch of the Tata mobile followed  by the Tata Sierra in 1991, becoming the first Induan manufacturer to achieve  the capability of developing a competitive indigenous automobile. In 1998, Tata  launched  the first fukly Indigenous Indian  passenger car, the Indica, and in 2008 launched  the Tata nano the world  cheapest car. Tata Motors acquired the  South Korean truck  manufacturer, Daewoo commercial vehicles company in 2004 and purchased Jaguar Land Rover from Ford  in 2008.
 

Tata Motors is listed on the BSE  ( Bombay  Stock Exchange), where it is a constituent of the BSE SENSEX index the National stock exchange of India and the Newyork Stock Exchange. The company is ranked 265th on the fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporation as of 2019.

On 17 January 2017, Natrajan Chandrasekaran was appointed chairman of the company Tata Group. Tata Motors increases its UV market share to over 8% in Financial Year 2019.

Tata Motors is a division of Tata motors which produces passenger cars under the Tata Motors marque. Tata Motors is among the top four passenger vehicle brands in India with products in the comapact and midsize car, and utility vehicle segments. Tata Motors has more than 250 dealerships in more than 195 cities across 27 states and four union Territories of India. It has the third largest sales and service network after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai.

                        Tata Daewoo

Tata Daewoo is a commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do South Korea and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors. It is the second largest heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer in South korea and was acquired by Tata Motors in 2004. The principal reasons  behind the acquision were to reduce Tata dependence on the Indian  commercial vehicle market and expand its product portfolio by leveraging on Daewoo's strengths in the haevy toonage sector.Tata Motors has jointly worked with  Tata Daewoo to develops truck such as Novus and world truck and buses including Globus and starBus. In 2012, Tata began developing a new line to manufacture competitive and fuel efficient commercial vehicles to face the competition

Mahashian Di Hatti Private Limited MDH is Indian spice produce the second largest leader in the the Indian market for with 12% market share , following S Narendra Kumar's  Everest Spices.


                      History of MDH


Mahashay Chhunilal Gulati Set up the masala company in 1919 in Sialkot, British India currently located in the Punjab provinence of the Pakistan since 1947. It is associated with Mahasay Chhunilal Charitable Trust.


Mahasay Dharampal Gulati, the son of tue founder move tinthe Delhi  after the partition of the India. He opened a shop in a shack  amd started selling spices like his father. He later opened his shop at Ajmal Khan  Road, Karol Bagh and expanded  from there. In 1959 he purchased a piece of land  in Kirti Nagar to set up his  own spice Factory.


From  there  he build the entire group to one of the India's leading spices manufactures expanding to 15 factories. Speaking to The Economic times last year, he said, "My motivation to work is being sincere in product quality sold at affordable  prices and nearly 90% of my salary goes to charity in my personal  capacity."



At the age of 94, Dharampal was the  highest  paid Fast moving Consumer  Goods (FMCG) CEO in India in 2017. He took home over 21 crore as salary last  fiscal. Two year later, on March 16, 2019 The President of India Shri Ram Nath kovind conferred the Padam Bhusan award for trade and Industry.


MDH today has a range of 62 products avilable in over 150 different packages. These include ground and blended spices, which are free of preservatives. MDH also sells other products such as saffron.

MDH under the leadership of Mahasay Dharampal Gulati has developed more than 20 schools including  MDH International school, Mahasay Chhunilal Sarswati Shishu Mandir, Mata Lilawati kanya vidyalaya and Mahasay Dharampal vidya Mandir etc.



He started  a 10-bed eye hospital at arya samaj, in Shubash Nagar, in 1975. Later in January 1984, a 20 bed hospital was established in Janakpuri, New Delhi to commemorate his late mother mata Chanan Devi. Now it has 300 beds on about 5 acres of the land.

It was established in 1945 as Muhammad & Mahindra and later renamed as Mahindra & Mahindra. It is one of the largest vehicle manufacturers by production in India, and the largest manufacturer of tractors in the world. It is a part of the Mahindra group and Indian Conglomerate. It was ranked 17th on a list of top companies in India by Fortune India 500 in 2018. It is a major competitors in the India market including maruti Suzuki and Tata  Motors.

Mahindra and Mahindra was founded as a steel trading Company on 2 October 1945 in Ludhiana as Mahindra & Muhammaed by brothers Hari Krishnan and Jayakrishnan and Jagdish Chandra Mahindra along with Malik Ghulam Muhammad. Anand Mahindra, the present chairman of Mahindra Group, the is the grandson of Jagdish Chandra Mahindra. After India gained Independence and Pakistan was formed, Muhammad emigrated to Pakistan, Muhammed acquired Pakistani citizenship and settled in Lahore, and in 1948 become Pakistani's first finance minister.


in 1948, the company changed its name to Mahindra & Mahindra. They eventually saw a  business opportunity in expanding into manufacturing and selling larger MUVs and started assembling under the licence of willys Jeep in India. Soon, M&M was established as the Jeep manufacturer in India, later commenced manufacturing light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and agricultural tractors.



In 1999, Mahindra purchase 100% of Gujarat Tractors from the Government of Gujarat and in 2017 Mahindra renamed it as Gromax Agri Equipment Limited, as part of new brand strategy and the models continue to be sold as Trakstar. In 2007, M&M and acquire Punjab tracker Limited PTL making it the world's largest tractor manufacturer subsequent to this take over the former was merged into M&M entrance form as swaraj division of Mahindra and Mahindra in the year 2009.



Over the past few years, the company has taken interest in new industries and in foreign markets. In 2008, they enter the two wheeler industry by taking over Kinetic Motors in India.In 2010, M&M took a 55 % stake in the REVA Electric Car Company and in 2016, they in emits Mahindra Electric Mobility Ltd after taking 100% ownership.

 Hero MotoCorp Ltd.,formerly Hero Honda, is a an Indian Multinational motorcycle and scooter manufacturer based in  New Delhi India. The company is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world, and also in India, where it has a market share of about 46% in the two-wheeler category. The 2006 Forbes list of 200 world's Most Respected Companies had hero Honda Motor ranked at 108. On 31st March 2013, The market capitalisation of company was rupees 308 billion.


Hero Honda started its operations in 1984 as a joint venture between Hero Cycles of India and Honda of Japan. In June 2012, Hero MotoCorp approved a proposal to merge the investment arm of its parent Hero Investment Pvt. Limited with the automaker. This decision came 18 months after its spilt from Hero Honda. "Hero" is the brand name used by the Munjal brothers for their flagship company, Hero cycles Ltd. A joint venture between the Hero Group and Honda Motor Company was established in 1984 as the hero Honda Motors Limited at Dharuhera, India. Munjal family and Honda group both on 26% stake in the company.



During the 1980, the company introduced motorcycles that were popular in India for their fuel economy and low cost. A popular advertising campaign based on its slogan 'Fill it- Shut it - Forget it' that emphasised the motorcycles fuel efficiency help the company grow at a double-digit pace since inception.In 2001 , the company became the second largest two-wheeler manufacturing company in India and globally. It maintains getlobal industry leadership to date. The technology in the bikes of Hero Motocorp for almost 26 years has come from the Japanese counterpart Honda.


The termination of Honda Joint venture


By December 2010, the board of directors of Hero Honda Group had decided to terminate the joint venture between Hero Group of India and Honda of a Japan in a phased manner.The Hero Group would buy out the 26% stake of the Honda in JV Hero Honda. Under the joint venture Hero Group could not export to international markets and the termination would mean that Hero Group could now export. From the beginning, the Hero Group relied on their Japanese partner Honda for the technology in their bikes.

 


the Japanese automaker exited the joint venture through a series of off-market transactions by giving the Munjal family- which held a 26 % stake in the company -an additional 26%. Honda, wanting to focus only on its independent fully owned two-wheeler subsidiary- Honda Motorcycle and scooter India (HMSI)excited Hero Honda at a discount and get over 64 billion for its stake .


The rising differences between the two partners gradually emerged as an irritant. Differences had been brewing for a few years before the split of a variety of issues, ranging from Honda reluctance stands to fully and freely share technology with Hero out to the Japanese company another major edited from Honda was the refusal of Hero Honda to merge the companies spare parts business with Honda new fully owned subsidiary HMS.

              Formation of the new company


The name of company was changed from Hero Honda Motors Limited to Hero MotoCorp Limited on 29 July 2011. The new brand identity and logo of Hero Motocorp were developed by British firm Wolff Olins.The logo reveal on 9 August 2011 in London, to coincide with the third test match between England and India.Hero MotoCorp can now export to Latin America, Africa and West Asia. Hero is free to use any vendor for its  components instead of just Honda-approved vendors.



On 21 April 2014, Hero MotoCorp announced its plan on a rupees Rs2.540 billion joint venture with Bangladesh Nitol-Niloy Group in the next five years to set up a manufacturing plant in Bangladesh. The plant started production in 2017 under the name "HMCL Niloy Bangladesh Limited". Hero MotoCorp owns the 55% of the manufacturing company and rest 45% is owned by Niloy Motors. Hero also updated its 100cc engine range in 2014 for 110 cc bike accept Hero Dawn.

HUL was established in 1993 as Lever Brother of United kingdom and following a merger of constitution group in 1956, it was renamed Hindustan Lever Limited. The company was renamed in June 2007 Hindustan Unilever Limited.



Hindustan Unilever's portfolio had 35 product brands in 20 categories. The company has 18,000 employees and clocked sales of 34619 and crore INR 29 to 20 categories. The company has 18,000 employees and clocked sales of 44,165 in financial year 2019- 2020.


In December, 2018 HUL announced it's acquisition of Glaxosmithskline's India business  for $3.8 billion in all equity  Deal with a 1:4:39 ratio. However the integration of GSK's 3800 employees remained uncertain as HUL stated there was no clause for retention of employees in deal. In April 2020, HUL completed it's merger with Glaxosmithskline consumer Healthcare after completing all legal procedures.
